WHAT IS SECRET?

HOW DOES IT WORK? 
Secret RF uses microneedles to deliver radio frequency energy into varying levels of the skin including the deeper layers where treatment is most beneficial. Unlike other devices which only deposit energy in upper layer of the skin, Secret RF delivers RF energy below the surface where it’s needed most to help revitalize and regenerate the tissue. This unique delivery of energy allows us to achieve optimal results with little to no downtime on all skin types. WHAT IS THE SECRET RF PROCEDURE LIKE? 
Secret RF is a easy, safe and effective procedure that can be performed in a quick, 15-minute treatment session. During the treatment, you will feel a slight heating and some pressure on the treatment area. For most patients, the treatment is tolerable but your physician will work with you to maximize your comfort level. Prior to the procedure, your provider will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area to increase comfort during the treatment. 
HOW MANY SECRET RF TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Patients typically need 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Most patients report seeing improvement after the second treatment however results are optimized 3 months after the last treatment. 
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT LAST?

Results vary based on the individual. To maintain results, maintenance treatments are recommended every 12-18 months. 
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY PROCEDURE?

After the treatment, an ointment will be applied to the skin and you will be asked to refrain from wearing make up for several hours. Any minor redness or swelling resulting from treatment will subside within 12-24 hours. After the treatment, you can expect to return to normal activities.

Lutronic LaseMD ULTRA is a low-downtime laser that resurfaces the skin, giving it brighter tone and improved texture. Treatments can be customized for your particular needs and schedule. ULTRA can be used anywhere on the body for treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, freckles, sun spots, non-cancerous pigmented lesions, and sun damage.
Lutronic ULTRA is the next generation thulium laser (improved over LaseMD). It has 20 watts of power (as opposed to LaseMD which as 5 watts of power). Therefore, treatments with ULTRA are faster and can be titrated to a more powerful strength, giving improved results.

HOW DOES ULTRA WORK?
* ULTRA is a 1927 nm wavelength laser which resurfaces the skin in the epidermis and dermis.

* ULTRA targets water instead of pigment, resulting in a more even treatment. It is less likely to cause unintentional burns than IPL which targets pigment. Thus it is safe for all skin types. 

* ULTRA causes non-ablative, microscopic injuries which stimulates new collagen production, and has a fast recovery period.

WHAT IS THE ULTRA TREATMENT LIKE?
* Your provider at Rejuve Medspa may apply numbing cream prior to treatment depending on the settings and goals for your treatment. For the “Glo and Go” treatment, no numbing medication is required. 

* Patients describe the Ultra treatment as a warm, tingling sensation which may vary. The treatment time may range from 10-20 minutes or longer depending on how much area is being treated. 

* Immediately following the treatment, you will notice some redness which will lessen over the next day or so.

* The following 5-6 days, your skin will have a dry, sandpaper-like texture. This is normal and will resolve as your skin exfoliates, revealing fresher, clearer skin. 

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR TREATMENT WITH ULTRA?
* Clean skin: avoid wearing make-up when coming in for your appointment. 

* Avoid retinols or tretinoin (Retin A) for 1 week.

* Tell your provider if you have a history of Herpes Simplex or Shingles as this might require that you take medication to prevent an outbreak. 

POST-CARE: WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER TREATMENT WITH ULTRA?
* Use mild soap for 1 week.

* Avoid glycolic acid, exfoliants, soap containing salicylic acid or alcohol for 1 week.

* Avoid sun exposure and wear mineral-based sunscreen.

* Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours. 

What is XEOMIN?
XEOMIN (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription medication used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. XEOMIN contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum
What should I expect during treatment?
During treatment, which usually takes about 10 to 20 minutes, your  practitioner will inject XEOMIN into the muscles in your forehead that cause frown lines between your brows. No anesthesia is required.
What are the potential results?
In clinical trials, some patients observed visible smoothing as early as 3-4 days after injection. The median first onset of effect was less than a week. The maximum effect typically occurs at 30 days. The typical duration of effect is up to 3 months, but may last significantly longer or shorter in individual patients.
How does XEOMIN work?
When you squint or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines.
Botulinum toxin type A the active ingredient in XEOMIN acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions, XEOMIN can temporarily reduce the lines on your forehead between your brows.
Is XEOMIN proven?
XEOMIN was proven effective in two randomized, double-blind, multicenter, placebo-controlled clinical trials of 547 healthy, adult patients. The average age of patients in the study was 46 years. Patients received 20 Units of XEOMIN and were classified as responders if they had a 2-grade improvement on a 4-point scale as assessed by the physician and patient. Using these criteria, treatment success was higher with XEOMIN than placebo on Day 30 in both studies (60% and 48% vs. 0% for placebo in both studies). Based on these trials, XEOMIN received FDA approval for aesthetic use in 2011.
How do I know if XEOMIN is right for me?
If you are an adult with moderate to severe glabellar lines, XEOMIN may be right for you. Talk to your doctor to discuss the benefits and risks of treatment. Do not take XEOMIN if you are allergic to botulinum toxin or any of the other ingredients in XEOMIN. You should also not take XEOMIN if you have had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product or have a skin infection at the planned injection site.

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that restores skin tone and treats fine lines and wrinkles, scars, large pores and active acne. How Does Laser Genesis Work?

Laser Genesis is a non-ablative Nd:YAG laser that uses heat to kill bacteria on and under the skin, preventing future acne outbreaks. The heat also penetrates deep enough into the skin, to stimulate the natural production of collagen, which shrinks pores, evens skin tones, and increases the speed of cell turn over.
